About
Providence Foundation

OUR STORY.

Group of people supporting their community

Providence Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for those affected by drug and alcohol addiction, offering a lifeline of support and resources in North Dakota. With a deep understanding of the complex interplay between addiction and mental health, we strive to provide comprehensive support and services that address both aspects of recovery. Our commitment extends from funding treatment for those in need to investing in the infrastructure of treatment centers to ensure individuals have access to quality care. Furthermore, we recognize the importance of community support in the journey toward recovery, which is why we allocate resources to local organizations that champion this cause. By fostering collaboration among all stakeholders involved in addiction services, we create a network that amplifies our collective impact.

As pioneers in addiction awareness, we educate the public about the realities of addiction and reduce the stigma surrounding it. Through informative campaigns and outreach programs, we aim to dismantle misconceptions and foster empathy toward those struggling with substance abuse. In doing so, we hope to inspire individuals to seek help without fear or judgment.

Together, let us pave the way towards a healthier and more compassionate society.

CORE VALUES.

We are driven by our core values, which serve as the compass that guides our every action. These core values are not just words on paper; they are a collection of our most important beliefs and principles. Our commitment to recovery and helping individuals overcome addiction is at the heart of everything we do.

"And acceptance is the answer to all of my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation—some fact of my life—unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God’s world by mistake. Until I could accept my alcoholism, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life’s terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes."
